Privacy

The short version

You can use every part of samsungnepal.com without an account and without telling us who you are. We count visits with Google Analytics so we know which products and pages people use. We don't sell anything about you, and we don't show ads.

What Google Analytics records

When you visit, Google Analytics notes the pages you open, the products you view, save, compare or share, what you type into search, the site that sent you here, and your device type, browser, screen size and approximate location (city or region). It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_X9YMPWH9ZX, so that repeat visits are counted once; both expire after two years. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address.

We keep this data for 14 months. Data sharing with Google for advertising, benchmarking and product improvement is turned off, and Google signals (linking visits to Google accounts) is not enabled. Google processes the data under its privacy policy; see also how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Turning it off

Browsers that send Global Privacy Control are never measured. You can also switch measurement off for this browser here; it stays off until you clear this site's data.

Google also offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics on every site.

Saved products and comparisons

The products you heart, the ones in your comparison tray and your light or dark theme are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device; clearing this site's data removes them.

Questions

Write to [email protected]. To have data from your visits deleted, include the value of your _ga cookie so we can find it.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes the technical details of each request (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
