One UI 9 and Android 17 on Samsung phones sold in Nepal

Which phones have it

Every Samsung phone on sale in Nepal, and where its One UI 9 update stood on 14 October 2026. Samsung rolls updates out country by country, and we found no Nepal-specific report, so a phone here may get it days or weeks after Korea or Europe.

Samsung hasn't published a full list of phones that get One UI 9. A footnote in its own announcement lists the S26, S25, S24 and S23 series, the Z Fold7, Flip7, Fold6, Flip6, Fold5 and Flip5, and the Tab S11, S10 and S9 tablets; the wider list above is SamMobile's reading of Samsung's update policy.

How many years of updates

• Galaxy A57 and A37: up to six Android upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from their global launch, Samsung says.
• Galaxy S26 series: seven Android upgrades and seven years of security updates, reports say, the same as the S24 and S25.
• Galaxy S26 FE: seven Android upgrades, reports say.

Each product page on this site lists its phone's years of Android upgrades.

How to get it

1. Back up your phone first. The update is large: about 2.3 GB on the Galaxy A57 in Europe.
2. Charge it and connect to Wi-Fi.
3. Open Settings › Software update › Download and install.
4. If nothing shows, try again in a few days. Samsung says availability varies by country and model.
