Upcoming Samsung phones in Nepal

The next big Samsung phones for Nepal are the Galaxy S27 series, expected in early 2027, and the Galaxy A38 and A58, expected around March 2027. Samsung has announced neither, so everything about them below is labelled as a rumour or a certification listing; we add Nepal prices only after a phone officially launches here.

Galaxy S27 series

Status: rumoured, in certification. Reports point to four models: the Galaxy S27, S27+, a new S27 Pro and the S27 Ultra. Listings in China's 3C certification database, reported in September 2026, show the S27 Pro (SM-S9570) and S27 Ultra (SM-S9580) rated for 60 W charging, with no charger in the box.

Chips are still rumour. Reports mention a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 family chip for most models and a possible Exynos 2700 in some markets. Samsung has not confirmed any of this.

Timing. Samsung unveiled the S26 series in late February 2026 and put it on sale on 11 March. Reports for the S27 are split between a January 2027 launch and the same February–March window. In Nepal, Samsung opened S26 pre-orders on 8 March 2026, about two weeks after the global launch. If the S27 follows that pattern, expect it here soon after its global debut, but no date has been set.

Should you wait? The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra already charges at 60 W, the same rating the S27 Ultra carries in its certification listing. If you need a phone now, every S26 model gets seven years of updates in our data.

Galaxy A38, A58 and the budget A models

Galaxy A38 and A58: model numbers spotted. Model numbers for both appeared in the GSMA database, Sammy Fans reported on 30 September 2026. By their names they would follow the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G and Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. The report expects them around March 2027, and gives few specs beyond more efficient processors.

Galaxy A18: launched in Europe, not yet here. The 4G Galaxy A18 went on sale in France, Norway and Sweden in September 2026. GSMArena lists a 6.7-inch 90 Hz AMOLED screen, the Exynos 1610, a 50 MP main camera without OIS, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W charging, IP64 and Android 17 with six years of OS updates. It has not launched in Nepal.

Galaxy A18 5G and A08 5G: leaked. A leak reported by SamMobile in August 2026 put both in January or February 2027. The same leak gave 7 October for the Tab S12, which matches the sale date Samsung later announced, but Samsung has not confirmed the phones. For now, the 5G option at this level is the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy A08 is the newest entry model.

Tablets and foldables

Galaxy Tab S12 series: announced. Samsung confirmed the Tab S12 in its July 2026 earnings call and unveiled it on 30 September. The Tab S12+ has a 12.6-inch screen and a 10,600 mAh battery; the Tab S12 Ultra has a 14.6-inch screen and an 11,600 mAh battery. Both use the Dimensity 9500, charge at 45 W and include the S Pen. Sales start on 7 October 2026 in markets such as the UK. There is no Nepal launch date or price yet; our current tablets include the Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+.

Foldables. Samsung unveiled this year's foldables on 22 July 2026, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 are already on sale here. Samsung has said nothing about the next models. A Korean leaker reported in March 2026 that a lighter TriFold successor is planned for around mid-2027; treat that as a rumour.

Questions and answers

When will the Galaxy S27 launch in Nepal?

Samsung has not announced the S27. Reports point to early 2027 for the global launch. The S26 reached Nepal for pre-order about two weeks after its global launch, but that is a pattern, not a promise.

Will there be a Galaxy S27 Pro?

Probably. An S27 Pro has appeared in China's 3C certification with 60 W charging, according to Gizmochina. Samsung has not confirmed the name or the model.

Should I buy the Galaxy S26 now or wait for the S27?

If your current phone works, waiting a few months costs nothing. If you need one now, the S26 series is current, has seven years of updates, and the S26 Ultra already has 60 W charging.

When is the Galaxy A58 coming?

Model numbers have appeared in the GSMA database, and reports expect it around March 2027. Samsung has not announced it, and there is no Nepal date.

Is the Galaxy Tab S12 available in Nepal?

Not yet, as of 6 October 2026. Samsung announced it on 30 September with sales from 7 October in markets such as the UK. We will add it once it launches officially in Nepal with a price.
